Overview:
This course provides construction workers and supervisors with essential knowledge to work safely at height and comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005. It covers common hazards, safe use of ladders, scaffolds, platforms, and fall-prevention systems used on construction sites.
Who Should Attend:
All site operatives, roofers, scaffolders, cladding installers, tradespeople, supervisors, and managers.
Learning Outcomes:
Understand legal responsibilities when working at height
Identify high-risk work situations on construction sites
Correct use of ladders, scaffolds, MEWPs, and platforms
Fall prevention and fall arrest systems
Inspection of access equipment
Safe planning of work at height tasks
Assessment & Certification:
Online or classroom knowledge check. Certificate of completion valid for 3 years.
Duration: 2–4 hours (online) or ½ day (classroom)
