Work at Height – Construction
Overview
The training provides construction workers and supervisors with the essential knowledge to work safely at height and to comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005. The course covers common hazards and the safe use of ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and fall prevention systems on construction sites.

Training Objectives
After completing the course, participants will be able to:
Understand legal duties when working at height
Identify high-risk situations on a construction site
Correctly use ladders, scaffolding, MEWPs (mobile elevating work platforms), and work platforms
Apply fall prevention and fall arrest systems
Carry out inspections of access equipment
Safely plan tasks performed at height
Assessment and Certification
Online or classroom knowledge check
Certificate valid for 3 years
Duration
2–4 hours (online)
Half day (½ day) – classroom-based
