Asbestos Awareness (Category A) – Course & Certification
The Asbestos Awareness (Category A) Course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge needed to avoid accidental exposure to asbestos while working on site.
Delivered by Alternative Training, this course helps workers understand where asbestos may be found, the risks associated with exposure, and the correct procedures to follow if asbestos-containing materials are disturbed. The course meets industry standards and supports compliance with current health and safety legislation.
This course does not qualify learners to remove asbestos and is suitable for awareness purposes only, in line with Category A training requirements.
