The Level 2 SVQ/NVQ Diploma in Insulation and Building Treatments (Construction) provides a nationally recognised qualification for individuals working in this specialised area of construction.
This qualification is competence-based, meaning candidates must demonstrate the required level of competence outlined in the units. Assessment involves evaluating a candidate’s skills, knowledge, and understanding against the standards set within the qualification.
The qualifications must be assessed in a work environment, in accordance with the ConstructionSkills’ Consolidated Assessment Strategy for Construction and the Built Environment. The assessment must be conducted by a suitably experienced and qualified assessor.
Candidates are required to compile a portfolio of evidence demonstrating their achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.
